There are very, very few positives I can say about the film. I think I should get those out of the way. Deepak Dobriyal as a loving sidekick plays Pappi, an amiable and hilarious character. Dobriyal is likable, amusing and pulls you in immediately. R. Madhavan and Jimmy Shergil, predictably have acted as well as the script would allow. However their best efforts, they were no match for the massive shortcomings of the rest of the film. Kangana Ranaut vainly attempting to play a character not unlike the character Kareena Kapoor plays in ‘Jab We Met. Except Kangana Ranaut comes across as a light-headed, silly, adolescent girl who strays out of character far too often to be taken seriously. The film is rather bland and doesn’t excite in the slightest. The monotony is broken occasionally by an unpredictable and humorous chain of events that the director has failed to follow through. All in all the film left me praying for the sweet release only death could bring.
